quick update,, today i pulled the battery out and,cleaned all grounding points under the hood i could find,, sanded them bare metal clean, also cleaned the wire ring terminals aswell,, i also did this to both grounds behind the kick panels,, my hood ground strap was basicly gone so i made a new one out of some 10 guage stereo wire with eyelets at the ends and self tappered it,, sanded and cleaned the ring terminals on all the positive wires going to the starter solenoid ,, and just switched the computer to the one from the explorer in the junk yard i got for 10 bux , recon'd the battery
it started good,, power is good,, idle is good ,,so far,, and NOW MY CRUISE CONTROL WORKS??? for the first time ever ??
drove it 30 some miles,, shut it off for a half hour,, it started up just fine,,, however the real test will be tomorrow at 5:45 am when i fire it up to head to work,, we'll see how she does,,, and hopefully it will run good,, and continue to run good for more than just a week,,
