I have a 94 4x4 ford explorer EB. We have done alot of work to this car and its alot to list right now as in trial and error for this problem. we made 2 road trips in this vehicle. one to florida and another to new orleans. both trips leaving out of atlanta and 9 months apart. each time on the road, interstate, after driving for several hours at 70mph. the car would just kill. we would coast and get on the shoulder. let the car sit for 10 min and them it would start right up. i check under the hood and nothing appears to be wrong. i am starting to wonder if there is a type of sensor that shuts the car down due to engine heat. i have taken out the radiator, cleaned it, flushed it, etc. what could this be. someone please put in the right direction for the solution. thanks
