Hello,

I have a 94 Mazda B4000 4WD. I have searched the forum with no hits so I'll start a new thread for the two questions I have.

1) One front wheel is harder to turn than the other. 4WD is definately NOT engaged on the side in question. What adjustments can be made to free the wheel up ?

2) 4WD low will not engage, 4WD high is fine. Any pointers on where to start in resolving this problem. Grease in both hubs looks old and is starting to get hard. I added some fresh on top but would really like to rebuild them. Help in locating a good procedure is appreciated.

1. Maybe the brakes are dragging on the one side? Have you greased the caliper slide bolts lately?
2. Sounds like a T-case shift motor issue and not the hubs. But to service the hubs, remove them and fill with ATF, let soak a while, drain and reinstall. No grease needed.

Thanks,

Can you point me to a procedure to remove the hubs ?
