trans started slipping, blah blah. found problem to be the snap ring on the overdrive "cap" is halfway out of case. bleeding bad. I have dropped pan and removed all the bolts from the plate that the filter bolts to but it will not drop loose. I can move it a bit but it will not drop off. seems like its being held up in the center. What am i missing? do i need to be in a specific gear for it to drop? Help!
