94 Wheel help for newbie...

I just got a '94 Limited in great condition, but it has the wire rims which I can't stand. I've been reading old posts and scouring the web for info. on replacement wheels, and what I want are just the basic (I think) ones that were on later models (i think they are called Teardrop -- see EBay Item # 1822390400). So now to my question: are these wheels compatable w/ the '94, and are the only specs I need to be concerned w/ that they are 15x7, 5 lug, 4.5 inches? One last thing: Are there cons (other than cost) to upgrading to 16" wheels?

Unfortunately it'll be used mostly for highway driving...

I have the teardrop style wheels on my 92 sport and they look great same lug pattern and wheel size.My rims are off of a 95 xlt,I know in later years they went to a 16 inch tire

Thanks for the reply & the welcome. Since I've been scouring the forums for info. & looking at everyone's set-up's I've been impressed with how helpful everyone seems (even to those of us w/out major mods and little knowledge).

That being said, are there cons to going w/ a larger wheel (Say a 16")? Or should I just get the 15" ones and concentrate on the tires? I figure if I am buying new ones anyway, I may as well be satisfied w/ them for as long as I can...

The 15 inch is probally easier to find.

Thanks again Brad. I locked and loaded on the 15" teardrops which I think will look cool. (Not as cool as the monsters that alot of you guys have on yours, but better than what I have).
