95-97 euro tails (post if you want them)

I am posting this here (general explorations) instead of the lighting forum so that hopefully more people will read it. Moderators can move it if they must.

I want to know how many poeple are still interested in getting altezzas. This is for 95-97 explorers. I have this crazy idea that if I get alot of responce I can email this to some company to rush things a little bit. It has been tried before, but I want to try once more. If you think I'm crazy, tell me.

I see some of the cars that they make them for and it makes me sick that we were left out. You can even get them for a Chevy Baretta. How long ago did they stop making those things? I would like to think there are alot more Explorers on the road than Barettas.

these lights have nothing in common with European style tailights! I really hate when people do that... European this and European that.....

If you want to get more people notice your post and therefore sign-up to get these lights please, explain clearly in the post's subject that you're talking about "CLEAR ALTEZZA tailights".

BTW 95-01 Explorers have European style tailights from the factory (amber turn signal).

well then the euros can keep it.. I hate the color orange.

I'm in for a set, have been since march when they were 1st announced.

There is another thread just like this that was started 6 months ago. At that time, clearlights.com told me it would be 3-4 months max. Here we are, almost 7 months later, and NO altezzas. I called clearlights.com AGAIN earlier in the week, they say 2 more months for DOT approval. BS! Forget about these lights, it just isn't going to happen, no matter how big of a thread we make or how many e-mails we send.

i also emailed clearlights.com this week and they told me the same thing, 2 mos. or so. i would love a pair.

Don't you hate it when someone replies only to try to make you sound like an idiot. Dre, when these lights first came out, they were referred to as euro or "Altezza", so as not to be confused the plain clear tails. Even NOPI called them "Euro Tails". Sorry I don't speek fluent Ricer. I will now call these lights Altezzas.

I remember that thread, Hartman. It started in November of last year. I emailed a couple of companies who told me the same thing as clearlights.com told you. Procarparts.com told me they would have them in 2 months--but that was in December 2001.

the thread name is shorter

and theres less posts I suppose, so its easier to keep up with. its quite aggrivating the way these companies give you the runaround. But you know, its their product, if they dont want to make this product and make alittle profit on it, thats fine.. I like my clears.

Hartman, there were 10 months worth of posts on that thread. I hoped to get support more quickly being that it will (hopefully) be read by more people. Other than that, there is not much difference. Like you said, we will probably never get these lights.
