Need help ASAP! I was driving around town and went to stop and the brake peddle went right to the floor and took a very very long time to stop. A few minutes later the "brake" light came on. I just spent $1000+ on new brakes. Should I just suck it up and take it to be looked at? I really need the X for work tomorrow.

Thanks for any help!

How long ago did you have the brakes done? If you just had it done, you may have air in your lines, which would cause your pedal to go to the floor. If not, I would check the resevoir and check to make sure all the bleeder screws are tighten down.

Sounds like you ran out of fluid - due to a leak in the system. I'd take it back into the place that did your breaks.
