95 eddie bauer fender flares on a 94 xlt?

i need some more help guys :/ sorry lol i live in PA and theyre really strict about tires sticking out past the fenders where i live. i have 31x10.5 tires and they stuck out about 3" on the bottom and maybe an inch on top. it wouldnt pass inspection and the only cop in my town (we're on a first name basis is that bad?) wouldnt stop pulling me over about it (among other things wrong with my old tired truck) so i found a set of chevy fender flares on the side of the road and just bolted them on to get it to pass inspection ( it looks like **** but whatever it worked) but the cop is still giving me **** that the fender flares arent safe because theyre not meant for my truck :/ so hence my question, will fender flares from a 2nd gen eddie bauer explorer fit on my 1st gen xlt? thanks for putting up with that bit of a story lol

yes, i ran 2nd gensport flares on my 93 for a summer when i first got my lift

Yes they will bolt on,my '94 even had the inserts for the screws. The upper part can be fastened with 2 face tape if ness., although it won't need it.

I mean I like flares and normally would prefer less tire sticking out but I can't imagine why a law would be necessary.

i know, his argument was that my mud tires will pick up a rock and break someones windshield. i call bullshit and i think he has nothing better to do but whatever. and thank you for the tire info i think ill try to squeeze 12.5 just to piss off the cop lol. " look i put the flares on" cop, " it doesnt help if you put bigger tires on kid" lmao anyone know where i can find a set pretty cheap? does lmc truck carry them maybe?

I have 32x11.50 on a 94 sport and my tires are well within the factory flares. Stock rims for that matter. And the only rocks to ever hut my windshield have always been from semi's.

i know, the cop has nothing better to do and my trucks not exactly road worthy so he likes to pick on me, never gives me a ticket, just gives me **** every time he sees me, so now i need to find flares and show paper work to him that says its meant for my truck -____-
