95 exp sport-where should my charcoal canister be?

Having it smogged, but they cant find the Charcoal canister? Is it up front by the battery, or in the back near the spare and gas tank? It's a test only station, so they dont have much information, according to them, it should be up under the hood. A friend of mine says its under behind the gas tank?

It's in the back, I think above the spare tire.

I hate california. I wonder if theyre going to have to take my spare off to visually inspect it. Everything passed, this is the only thing holding me up. They were looking under the hood saying "its not here".......Nothing has been touched on the truck, with the exception of the IACV since the last smog.
