95 explorer 4.0 L warm idle issue

When warm starting, engine idles for a few seconds then dies. Sounds as if its out of fuel. When I give it a bit of gas it idles at a higher RPM but when I let off it starts the 'guzzling' noise again. Any ideas???

Maybe its out of air. If it idles too slow, it might be the IAC (idle air control) valve sticking closed and not allowing enough air to maintain idle speed. When you give it a little "gas", you are actually opening the throttle plate slightly and letting more air in.
