95 Explorer xlt 4.0L with a code number.

my problem is that when i get on a hill and accel. i lose power and converter stinks bad! problem has recently arrised dtc gives me egr solenoid but had that code when it was running good any ideas anybody ?

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. What are the code numbers? Check the DPFE sensor, and the vacuum lines. Did you ever replace the fuel filter?
