Ball joints or more than likely a tie-rod end (inner or outter)!

-Drew

great, i was hoping for a bushing. any way to tell for sure? thanks, andrew

My guess would be sway bar bushings, and probably torsion bar wear pads. If it is ball joints, the tire will have an in out wobble when the tire is off the ground.

cool thanks i tried to wobble everythin when i had it jacked, but everythin was good and tight thats what made me think of bushings , another fella pulled up to me at the gas station, same prob he was told bushigs . are these bushings your talking about cheap to get replaced , or can i do? thanks

Hmm... There are a number of things that will squeak. Torsion bars kevlar pads, control arm bushings, etc. Anways moving to a more appropriate forum. Just for future reference the 911 Forum is for trucks that will not move in the condition it is under its own power safely.

The torsion bar wear pads are fairly involved, but the sway bar bushings are very easy and a cheap date. For the best quality you can get an entire kit for under $50.

sometimes my rear squeeks pretty bad so i spray some DD40 on my driver side leaf and the annoying squeeking is gone for awhile, when it comes back i just give it another spray i was hesitant to do this at first but ive been doin it for awhile now and no serious problems

great thanks . i may give her a squrt of dd in the am and see if a temp fix and ill put the bushing and pad kit on her. sorry for posting in 911 but i thought it may be coming apart ,dont wanna hurt nobody. love the site and the x's. thanks again

I also have a noisy front end. It sounds like bad shocks squeaking but, it's not the shocks. It squeaks then I turn the steering wheel or when there's any bounce to the front end. Any ideas ?

i agree with what others have said about the kevlar pads... my moms 96 does it also... do a search for ray lobato, this has been disscussed a lot

Squeek, clunk, grind, or rattle?

squeek, definately a squeek :)

Squeaking is most likely the sway bar end links, and through bushings. You can get a whole replacement kit for under $30.

am i the only one , who was getting pissed off ? when reading his message . with the space , between every ; punctuation ? It ' s probably , just me . but that , was annoying .
