95 or 130 watt alternator HELP!

Ok I have a 98' ford explorer sport v6 4.oL OHV and I am getting an alternator on friday and I need to know what size I should get because my car is being a pain in the ass and if i don't have to take it with me im not going to. If anybody knows what size would be fine for my car please let me know asap appreciate it!

Go with the 130amp one. If you add lights or a winch or a system down the road you will be blad you did.

You must get one from a V6 OHV engine, the V8 and SOHC are different alternators. If you buy used get one from a later Explorer, like 2000 or 01. They are better, the high option models will have higher amp ratings. Good luck,

cool thanks for the help guys finally after 3 weeks of a bad alternator and constant battery recharges I can finally get my damn alternator cause I get paid tomorrow and I found a guy that's going to hook me up with a reman'd one so hopefully all goes well and I will be mobile again and my g/f won't b*tch anymore! wahoo!
