Is there anyone out there near Central PA that would be willing to bring their 95 or 96 X over to my place so I can figure out how to create a 4WD High mode? All I need is to have the truck for a couple of hours. I will need to put the truck on Jackstands, and then monitor the Xfer case signal as the wheels rotate. No modifications to the truck will be done (unless you want them done :D).

I am in Baltimore, how far from Baltimore are you? Do you have a garage or are you working outside? Is there somewhere to do any trail ridding near you? Maybe we could get together and after you get the info you need we could get in some off road time?

I'm about 3.5 hours north of Baltimore (ask Blee1099 or Spas for exact times, they've been here before). I have a garage, and I do have some wheeling around the area.

When were you looking to get together? Would you mind if the wife and kids came along so thay could go wheeling with me?

Mark.. Your looking at a 2.5 to 3 hour drive depending on traffic and the speed your willing to go.

Jeff you also have two nice Mustangs that you like use to scare your passengers sh!tless.

Ben, ya still trying to pick leather out of your a** from that ride? :D

Mark, this weekend is out as we're gonna be busy. After that I have nothing planned...No problem bringing the family. I have a wife and a 6 year old daughter that like to wheel too. For wheeling, we have a shale pit up behind our house on the mountain (good for 30-45 minutes of fun), and the rest of the stuff is about half an hour away at best. Let me know..

I think the pics from the ride back will explain itself..

you could just monitor the signals in 4x4 low i would imagine that it woudld be the same signals as 4x4 high except the tcase in low range

It's very possible that's true, but I want to be absolutely sure before I suggest a mod, everyone goes and does it, and everyone burns out a circuit board....I'd rather take my time and measure all the signals first.

I hate you! I hate you! I hate you! After I get rid of mine you decide to find a way to do it! Only kidding though. I'd do it in a heartbeat if I still had ol' green.

Now that hitting below the belt!

Other than the unneeded rotation of it, I really like AWD, its there when I need, and I can even break it loose when its wet out.
