Before I recharge it was blowing hot air and clutch Would kick on for a sec then off again.. Not it's nothi g at all but no I do not have the while gauge setup

Did you replace the plastic sealing cap on the charge port? Was there one there to begin with? It sounds like you're loosing refrigerant. The charge port Shrader valves always tend to leak a bit (especially after being disturbed). The plastic caps really help to prevent this as they have a gasket/seal inside them. They should be screwed on tightly.

I did not the one that was on there looked new.. Even before I filled it the first time the clutch Would kick on and off for a little but now bothing

When I said "replace the cap" I didn't mean to get a new one, just put the old one back on.

If you're very low (or very high) on refrigerant the compressor will not cycle. It should normally kick in/out about every 10 seconds or so.

Yes the cap was back on..
