96 4.0 ohv xlt

I have a 96 XLT 4.0 OHV I had bad ball joints and had them replaced a couple months ago. then I started having problems with the passenger front wheel hub so I had that replaced as well but after the replacement Ive been having this issue with my steering feeling like its binding as I turn left or right it doesn't do it all of the time but it's definitely tight enough that I have to force it. Think of when you make a turn and let go of the steering wheel how it comes back to you mine does not I'm pretty stumped and wanted to see if anyone else here has had any experience with it and what it could be.

Have you checked the power steering pump?

Try a power steering flush. How to vid in the link in my signature. That should help a great deal.

thanks for the help guys changed the pump and flushed the fluid still was doing it so i replaced the rack and thats what it was now if I could just figure out what the popping noise is sometimes when i turn
