96 awd Tranny issues

Not sure if I should try to fix it or just go put in a new one . While driving usally around 40 - 50 mph truck Shakes like the road is a giant vibrator . This is not all the time and some what random times / conditions . Also while in cruise at a low rpm I feel the trans like disengauge I have to let go of the gas and reapply it then it goes again . Ive checked countless Searches and can not find anything . thanks

I'd bet it's gonna be shot VERY soon. I just had a little slip, and then a big slip, and then it was gone. Towed to trans shop. Guy at shop said he got it to move in 4 lo, but barely. I was just about to post a new thread when I saw this!

does it do it regardless of overdrive being on or off? I had that problem when I got my truck, but it only did it when the overdrive was left on. Turning the O/D off, eliminated that problem. Took it to the dealer (was still under warranty) they replaced some seals in the t-case(?). When I got it back from the dealer, it didn't do it regardless of O/D

I dont think I tried it with o/d off . I drove about 100 miles today without it happening though . Off for a test drive thanks
