Hey can someone help me out here, I am pretty much a do-it-yourself mechanic and Im Stumped, I need to know how to do a front-end alignment on my own, I am currently steering almost completely right just to keep it straight. if someone could help me out that would be great, thanks.

Welcome to the site.

Honestly, I would leave the alignment to a pro with proper equipment. The $35 is worth it to save your tires and your arms.

I'm sure someone here knows how to do it if you still want to do it that way.

Yeah, about the best you can do at home is like the dirt trackers do...and it only gets you in the ball park. Tires are expensive! If you must,....take 2 STRAIGHT piece's of steel about 10 X 36 and fairly thick to ensure they are 'true'. Place or have someone hold them against the outside of the tire/wheels. Measure from 'plate to plate' both in front and behind the tires. Also do top sides and compare them. They should measure the same from front to rear at the bottom and at the top. You can then adjust them to match. DISCLAIMER: I did not say this was the most accurate methodology!!! It is enough IMHO to get you to the alignment shop tho' for a proper one! Dirt trackers dont have to worry much about scrubbing rubber off thier tires!
