Hi.
While driving today it felt like my trans. just went into neutral. Has been fine up until now.. If i really rev the engine, it moves just a little bit. Same **** i 1. 2. 3. and reverse,

Any ideas what could be wrong ? Am i looking at a gearbox rebuild or mayby a converter ?

Welcome to the site.. Hows the fluid levels? Without really being there personally the first few thing that come to mind is either a valve body failure or gasket failure, valve body is loose, or pump failure. Try to check the fluid in the transmission after the engine has run for about 5 minutes on level ground and tell us if its red or brown..

Okai, thanks for replying.
I`m had to go offshore yesterday and wount be home two more weeks.. Hope to get some ideas to check out before i get home ;)

Does this meen you think there might be an "easy" solution to this ? aka. i dont have to change out the box ?
