96 explorer flexplate

Hey. I have replaced a broken flexplate fo about a year and a half ago, and now it is broken again. the car is a ford explorer 96. with a 4 liter V6 engine.
Is this a normal problem with this type of car, and do someone have a tip.

Welcome to this forum! It's possible that the crankshaft to flexplate spacer is broken. The Ford OEM design uses powdered iron. Get a Sonnax billet steel replacement.

When Mine broke, I was told that it was normal.
