Well I'm new here so bear with me. Just getting into a major rebuild (engine, tranny, brakes, and a lot of other stuff) on a '96 Explorer that I've had since '05. Has the 4.0 OHV with 5 spd manual shift. Really struggled with whether to take the old girl to the landfill or try to save, and decided to dive in and see where we end up.
I'll be starting a rebuild thread in the appropriate forum just in case anyone is interested. I've reference a lot of threads on this site thus far and felt that perhaps my rebuild effort could be documented and add to the body of knowledge already contained here. If anyone has tips or advice on how to get the most out of this forum please feel free to chime in.
