I've been procrastinating on this, but can't do it any more. My 230K Explorer (still runs grrrreate) has had a leak in the right rear air lifter year or so, but not so big that the pump couldn't easily keep up. This week in a trip to WV the air went out altogether on both front air lifters. It gives a whole different look now.
Wondering what I can expect if I take it to the Ford shop, dollar wise. Also wondering if I should be considering converting it to a standard suspension if that's possible. If it is, I'm wondering where I can find the conversion package. Also, wondering if there are aftermarket parts for the 96 Ltd air ride system.
Any help appreciated.
Ron
