mine went after 72k lol..sooo i dont know..what i would do is take the timing belt cover off, or in some cases you can pull it back a bit and look at the belt..is it dracked or dry rotted?..tht'll give you a good idea of what to do.. (if it is..replace it lol)
Wow....over 200,000 miles on a timing belt, that's gotabe a record.
I worked on Beemers for 33 years and we changed them every 50,000 miles so I guess you could say YOUR WAY OVER DUE !!!
