Im curious as to what the spare wheel size is on a 96 Explorer? Is it the same as the factory wheels on the truck or smaller / larger in width? The reason I ask is I am thinking about using a set of spare wheels to use for off road use. I kind of like the looks of them painted black with the caps on them. It is a budget 4x4 build so I want to stay on the cheap. I can snag a set one by one out of a few of them at the local pick n pull dirt cheap.
