96 Wiper Arm Adjustment

Hi All,

I have a 96XLT, I replaced the wiper arms, linkage and post. How do you go about adjusting the wiper arms so that the sit correctly on the windshield. Mine are currently sitting on the plastic cowling when the wipers are off.

Pull the blade off the windshield to about a 15 degree angle. At the base, where the arm is splined to the post, you'll see a release tab sticking out from the edge. Pry that tab away from the post, and let the arm come down and lock the tab in the unlock position. You can now lift the arm off the post, reposition it, and lock it back in place.

Thanks for the reply, the lobe on the backside of the arm had me thinking it was a fixed position set-up. They're all set. Thanks
