Hey I was just wondering what you guys think about me swaaping out both axles with Dana 44's and putting a big enough lift to run 40's. Then painting it all black with limo tint windows and a turqouise underbody kit. Just wondering if ya'll have ever seen one that big, for that year, and model. I plan on doing this in a year or at the beginning of next summer. Just thought I would get ya'lls input. Laterz!!!

Well... That would be cool. However why would you swap the 8.8 for a 44? That would be silly. The 8.8 is stronger and has discs. If you gonna swap it to run 40s you should run a D60 in the rear instead.

Pretty sure that would be a first here with tires that big. However if you're 2WD, you don't already have an "axle" up front.

RE: you don't already ......

you don't already have an "axle" up front.

that's why i said i was going to swap out both axles with Dana 44's

Why

Why would u go through the hassle of adding a front axle when you could just change the spindles instead. If your gonna add a front axle, u should go ahead and add 4x4. Plus, if u go offroad, the underbody kit will probably get broken.
