97 5.0L Idler pulley size

Know this is not the right thread to say Hi but HI!!

Just bought a 97 AWD 5.0L explorer.. The idler pulley fell apart. I found here that's a common problem. The Truck is still at the Sellers house. I bought a new pulley from AZ but it's 3.5 inches the OME one is 4? It there enough adjustment there to get this home Sunday? Bought a new cheapest belt too for now. Just need to get it to my place apx 20 miles back roads

If anyone runs into this, just to let you know the smaller AZ pulley worked fine. Got the explorer home. Now to fix the few issues.
