97 Aerostar engine swap!

Plain and simple( i know that is a dream) but that being said, my 97 4.0 awd head decided to rebel! I want to swap out with used but no aero's i see around. I have access to many rangers and mazdas.
With some mods what would be the best swap?
What years should I be looking for other than the same?

I am no stranger to hard work!

95 up ranger or explorer 4.0L will swap in. Reuse your exhaust manifolds or use this opportunity to install headers.
