Yesterday I couldn't pull over and get a good pic of 199,999 or 200,000, but here is a pic of 200010. She's been reliable and now after the recent accident, I can truely call her a "beater".

We need a picture of the "good" side

Awesome. Keep it rolling!

Woo!!! Congrats!! Twinsies. Kinda haha. My 97 got to 210 a few months ago, when I watched it roll over from 199,999 to 200,000 it was quite the moment lol, especially because I conveniently timed the last 3k oil change at 197,000... haha
How many miles have you owned this one for? What's next for it?

Just don't forget to rub the dashboard once in a while and tell her she's a good girl
Communication is key and these types of relationships

@donalds Ha!

@allmyEXes Nice, nice! I guess she's been nice to you since you've been nice to her.

Is this with original timing chain guides ? If not, still a nice milestone.

Some time back I installed a manual tensioner on the right side cam chain guide. The wife drove it to work for a little while before driving the '97 Mountaineer for a couple of years before the white '97, that mostly her has put over 40,000 miles since the front left cam chain repair.When I first met her, she was driving the plum '94. Before we sold it, it had over 333,333 miles on it with the "iron duke" 4.0 OHV and A4LD. Soon the '97 Blue Explorer will be sold after I get the '97 MM 5.0 driveable. @Lee's Automotive could use it for a beater, hint, hint. @Josh P Here is a left side pic taken this morning before driving to work. Spare has been rotated in to service to get some use. Lower lamp valence needs reinstalled.

The right side has cosmetic damage, it could be fixed. It has been a good car to you.

I certainly would not want to buy an identical vehicle to the one I already own, that would be senseless. Cough cough.

Sadly, I have no room for another vehicle I currently have my 99 explorer which is my DD and a 02 explorer 4.0 which needs a fuel pump and a 04 explorer 4.0 with a possible bad engine oh and a 99 or 00 Toyota sienna they are all sitting in my friends back yard except my 99 since it's my DD and has 275k on it and still going strong but thanks for the offer @allmyEXes

Yeah my 99 is a beater but runs excellent just dented up and needs a fresh coat of paint,

I say buy 1 with the lowest trim level there's less gadgets to fix
Wish I could have roll up windows
