My interior fog light button doesn't light up anymore, I pulled it off to see about replacing the bulb, but I can't tell where the actual bulb is or make heads ot tails out of what to do. I know it's probably simple, but it's one of those days...

You must replace the entire switch. Its like 10 bux from Torrie.

OR! I sent espnfreak a bunch of foglight illumination bulbs because his defroster switch was burnt out. See if he will spare one (I sent them for free).

Adam, where did you get the bulbs? I could use one in my burned out fog-lamp switch. I was planning on waiting until it cools down below 100 in my garage before I pull my trim off again to check out the switch.

I went to the salvage yard and took apart 2Explorers' dashs. Since the switches are all illuminated the same, I took 2 bulbs from the fog and rear defrost switches... the guy gave them for free because he figured they were of little to no value anyways :)

So you guys are saying that the entire switch DOESN'T need to be replaced, that just the bulb can be replaced?

YES you are Correct!

BUT, you can't get just the bulbs from Ford. They only sell the entire switch.

Thus, that's why you go to a yard and grab 4 or 5 from your year Explorer - there's bound to be one that works in the group :)
