The passenger wiper arm now comes to rest on top of the cowl, past the bottom of the windshield. Arm is not bent..it is identical to the driver's side arm. Mounting post has a detent-type top on it, not splined like most vehicles. There is a large hex nut located below the mounting post; can i loosen that nut to reposition the mounting post, or will that just serve to make the wiper linkage fall apart? Do I have to remove the 2-piece plastic cowl to get inside and make an adjustment? Or, is any adjustment even possible? Thanks!
