I have a 97 Ford Ranger, 2.3L, standard cab, automatic trans. I had a power steering hose break and the engine compartment had power steering fluid all over. Had it fixed and now my ABS light is on. Had it check and the mechanic does not know why it is on. They checked everything and it looks ok, but I have no ABS for the rear wheels. Could it be a short due to the power steering fluid. I cleaned the engine a month ago and the light went out for one day, then came back on. Not sure what to check or clean? Any help would be appreciated.
