97 Sport factory AMP question

Does anybody know if the inputs for the factory amp are a PreAmp level or a Line Level? I am looking to install better speakers and a 4-channel amp. I'm not installing anything to blow the windows out, just components for better quality sound. TIA

Thanks, that's what I thought. I was looking at the schematics and since my CD changer output is in-line with the radio output, I figured preamp. Just wanted to double check before trashing something. Now comes the PITA of tearing the rear seats and side panels out.
