97 stuck in low 4x4

i found a good deal on a xlt but its stuck in Low 4x4 and wont disengage is there anyway i can manually do it. Its push button(auto hubs) auto trans 97. He says it a sensor is there a sensor on them if so where is it...

It is not push button and it does not have auto hubs.

You can remove the shift motor and manually shift to high. There are shift motor rebuild threads that will help you get the motor working again.

It is not push button

Its not technically a "Push" button but it is still an electric "button" - just the rotary type .

can you shift it while its still in the truck and if so where is it? how hard is it to shift it? how long should it take for a n00b?
