Hola, new member here, but veteran with Fords. About to acquire a rust free 97 Ex from a friend. He got personal with a buck recently and the front end is trashed. Gonna grab it for 500 bucks. It's in need of a core support, header panel and bumper. My question to you gents is, since I'm gonna have the front end apart is it possible to swap my preferred front end style of 91-94 onto this 97? I know a hood and fenders would be in order but curious about the body line. Thanks in advance everyone.

Most do it the other way round, second gen on a first but the front clip is a direct fit both ways.

The rear edge of the fenders are identical so the body line match from door to fender is perfect. Same with hood.

Only the leading edges and grill-work were changed.

To look like this!
