Thanks to all who responded! Anyone have any photos of their rigs with 30 or 31's on them? Any other advice on tire selection would also be very much appreciated.

TIA,

Hey all, wondering if anyone has any experience, good or bad, with changing out the stock size tires (235-75-15) to something a bit wider and taller like a x10.50x15?
I don't want to add a lift kit or anything, just gain some xtra clearance and stability.

Just look in the Elite Explorer and Explorer Registry forums. You'll find lots of pictures.

Thanks!

How do you like the Michelin tires? I am thinking of getting the XC LT4 for my Explorer.

Thanks for the info...

Ive got XC LT4's all the way around... you can only buy them at sears....... they are great highway tires..... they do OK offroad, if you plan on doing alot of street driving, then they are a good choice. They are very quiet too.

Thanks for the info. Basically all of my driving is street driving, so the quite factor means alot.

Thanks again!

I love them. 70K miles and they still look/drive/handle like new. Mostly highway, some light offroading/mud. Definitely worth the $$$ IMO.

Thanks for the information. I really do appreciate it.
