Just reserved my Explorer Altezzas for my 00. They're coming in stock on December 14th at http://www.autosyndicate.com for $199.95 thought I'd let ya'll know seeing as a few here were interested. No word yet on any model years outside of 98-00, but the fact that they've recognized the Explorer segment of the market can compete with the likes of the Cavalier and Mirage is a good start (SHEESH!).

Please post a pic of an Explorer with the Altezzas.

they dont have a pic of them on the truck, but here is a pic of just the tailight.

I have mine reserved also ;-)

I really hope these come out for 95-97 models...will the 98s fit at all??

yes.. and no.. your hatch door is too big for those.. and they are too deeply cut for them also.. they will fit on, but once you close the hatch, it will scrape on the taillight and the light will stick out about half an inch beyond the hatch door :(

Im seroiously considering a set of those, but want to see a finished set. The pic Jornum has is from Autosyndicates' site, and it says that its a prototype photo.

thx darkfox for the info....damn...hopefully they will come out for all explorers....

Mine'll be here by Wednesday...

Just confirmed shipment with Auto Syndicate, they said 4 business days so they'll be here by Wednesday (Thursday at the latest). I'll post some pics of them when I put them on (Yes, closer ones this time sideswipe :)). In all reality they should come out for earlier Explorer models, they have 83-92 chevy ones out, hell they even have nissan hardbody altezzas.

gooooooood

my LEDs are on backorder, but once I get htem.. I'll post a pic of those too.. anythin but the stockers.. they are fugly

Hey DarkFox, seeing as how u are into the neons, and all, have you ever seen the electro-luminescent gas, and brake pedals. I found them on ebay, they look kinda cool, but don't know how they would hold up.

woa

thats weird.... I don't know if I could get used to something like that.. heh, I have blue neon under my dash up front now anyway, it lights up the entire area where the passengers and driver of my rides feet may be.. so.. thanks for the info, but, I've already got an alternative.

btw guys, I made myself a photopoint album as sort of a photo dump, if you'd like you can go there and check out some other stuff, I have some pics on there that aren't on my sounddomain pages.

Hey Dark,
I was wondering if you had any pics of your neons under the dash, and what kind are they? Do you have one mounted on the driver side and another on pass. side? BTW, gotta say that I really like your truck and your audio setup! I can't wait to see your LEDs!!

thanks

unfortunatley, no, I can't get a good picture, I'm using a Kodak DC215 digital camera for my pictures, if anyone has any tips on making it turn out let me know.. :) I've taken several picture attempts but it jt wont turn out.

in the front I'm running 2 streetglow 9" mini neons under the dash on both sides, its VERY bright for the neon size, but its not to a point that its distracting. In the rear I've tried to get 2 6" mini neons under the seat, IMO, its not bright enough, a friend of mine just found a 20" tube I gave him a year ago (no clue how you lose a 20" tube) but I might just put that under the rear, I think the LEDS will be in real soon off of backorder, so I should see them in a week or so (I'm not holding my breath)

Thanks again mack, if I forgot anythin, just lemme know :P I'm bad about missing things on posts sometimes

here we go

thats the best I could do.. sorry guys, even then this has photo correction... in reality these are very bright, its easy to see the brake and gas pedal and on the other side its just as bright

I see 'em just fine.. They look like they'd be awesome. I'm definently looking into getting some, but hadn't decided on the size yet. My '93 has been showing its age and mileage lately (110k), so I'm looking into getting a '99 or '00. I plan on doing more mods for that that are performance oriented and for the stereo, and etc. In other words, the non-offroad version. That was getting a little too expensive and damaging for my tastes. I love those Altezza's by the way, guys (all of you who are getting them). Lemme see the pics as soon as you get them!

damaging to your tastes? what do you mean? I'm trying to get a go rhino 3k series chrome grille guard and tail light guards soon..

Re: Mine'll be here by Wednesday...

thanks 00XLT! I appreciate you thinking of me man! I'm sure those Alteezas are gonna look SWEEEEEEEEEEET!
What are you gonna do with the red & clears you just bought recently?

Dark, I meant that my explorer was starting to have to go to the repair shop more than I liked. Getting a little too expensive

I just thought of another question.. is the $199 for just one light or for a pair? It didn't say on autosyndicate's site, or maybe I'm just blind
