'98 4.0L V6 timing chain

I bought this truck for almost 1 month; it came with the engine in pieces. I have manage to assemble the engine this last problem... the timing chains set. I have puchase every parts needed;but, I don't know how to assemble or install it. This is my first time working on a v6 engine... urgently in need of knowledge .

Is it an OHV or SOHC? (will say 4.0 EFI if it's a OHV on intake)

the OHV is pretty much like any other pushrod engine V8-or V6. line up the dots and slap the chain on it. Takes more work to get to it than to replace it.

the SOHC is a much different beast and I'm guessing that it is what you have. That engine I have no expertise with. Though the Haynes manual is pretty useful and there are several threads about the timing chains just have to dig through them.
