98 Explorer stalled out, not firing.

1998 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0L SOHC

Stalled out when pulled into parking stall. Engine is turning over and not firing. Spark plugs were all checked, new coil pack installed a couple weeks ago, new fuil injector.

I have tried pumping gas peddle when turning over. No start.

Any advise?

you might be sol with your sohc... lots of posts..... BUT first does your check engine light come on when you turn your key to "ON"????? Does it stay lit? Then does it go out when you try to start????

I believe the check Engine lite went off after i tried turning it over for few seconds.
