98 explorer timing belt

Was wondering when to replace timing belt on 98 explorer XLT, V6 4.0.(have 75,000 on it now) ? Hope it dont cost arm and leg!!!! Thanks guys.. Bob

Your X doesn't have a timing belt. If you have the SOHC 4.0L you have a timing chain, and the service life of the chain is supposed to be the life of the engine.
