This is a strange problem and am not sure how to describe it. I have a 98 Explorer XLT w/V6/at and only during the winter months do I have a problem when after startup, the engine will idle up with a strange buzzing noise. When I give it a few revs, it goes away but not always on the first try. I've read similar threads where others point to this as something wrong with a coolent valve. I don't think this is an idle problem because it comes and goes even after the vehicle is warmed up. If anyone else has had this problem, please advise. Thanks.
