98 Ford Explorer 4.0L HELP

Hello,
I have a 1998 Ford Explorer 4.0L 4x4 and the car ran great until I change the AIC (air intake valve) right?? Anyways, to make a long story short my car has no power it wants to stall and turn off when I press on gas. I have had many mechanis look at it and I was told it was the Catylac converter. I had one mechanic told me its not only that but my engine light is not on. ANother mechanic took my cat converter off ran water through and said it was good. Now im lost and been without my car for 2 months now. What could it be??? PLEASE HELP
Also when this first happened I was on the freeway driving and the car (sounded like or did ) on it's own down shifted to 2 gear and would not go pass 30 MPH.

The mechanic who said the check engine light was on, did he tell you what computer codes had been set?

When it was on.. yes i will give them right now. I'm at work and my car is at home with the paper but after they connected a couple of spark plug wires that were also connected wrong. it came off and hasn't been on since.

The codes were
P0113 Intake Air Circuit Temp Circuit High
P0102 Mass or Vol Circuit Low input
P0122 Throttle

I do know its not the Mass air flow sensor 2 mechanics tried it.

I edited the previous post with the codes. The engine light is not on anymore though.

That's for the throttle position sensor. I bet that's the problem.

I was just told we changed that already. I have the 6th mechanic at my house right now..lo and he thinks its a vacuum leak.
