'98 keyless entry location

Have lost/forgot factory keyless entry number for '98 Explorer XLT, 4 door. Does anyone know where it/module is located on vehicle? Local dealer wants to charge 1 hour labor to tell me! Please advise if known. Thanks for help!

Not sure on a 98 but on mine it is on the computer module that is located on driver side rear compartment that houses the jack. I had to get a mirror and flash light to read it.

Right on the money! Location was exact. Local Ford garage said they weren't sure, but if I'd bring it in they'd hook it up to the computer and tell me. Thanks a ton!
