98 Ranger taillights are not working.

i tried to hook up a trailer harness on my ranger to the pre existing one on the truck and i shorted something out. My taillights do not work but my signals and brake lights do what can i do to fix this problem?

yes i did check all the fuses and realys and i am still having the problem my tag lights are out as well

You have to get a schematic of the wiring, and trace everything.
