The brakes on my explorer squeal like crazy when the brakes are applied at low speeds. I changed my pads at about 28k to see if that fixed it. It didnt. The car sat for a week or two while I was out of town recently, and they made the most god awful noise while backing out of the driveway. Any ideas whats causing this?

Its 4 wheel disc. I've read about the slide pins, but i'm not sure exactly what they are/where they are or what type of grease to use on them. It drives me outta my mind.

Could be the dust seal on the front axle. They made a loud squeak during cold weather on my 98 and had to be replaced by ford. Do a search for about it and you'll get some more info.

This does it in all weather, regardless of temp

36 somethin, closin on 37. I guess I'll have them turned here over break......
