My ex has been trouble free for a while.

but today when i hit 70mph it just started ratteling and i just don't know why this would happen.

the truck has been solid over 70 ever since i got it
it even feels solid when punching out at 105.

but today it just shook like craziness.
i dunno what it was.

I was doing some donuts in the snow before and slid sideways into a speed bump i didn't see so thats the only thing i can think off that would have messed it up.

It feels like the vibrations are coming from the right front. My dad looked at it and said he thought the front right tire has a bubble, and is out of round. But i don't know what could cause this give me any info to help me out.
thanks

Maybe a tire weight came off?

Possibilities:

-ice or snow caught up in the wheel
-bubble in tire? yea, that would do it
-knocked a wheel weight off
-something in front end out of allignment (caused by hitting speed bump)

Exactly what I was gonna say ;)

might have tweaked a wheel, or possibly a suspension component

I'm pretty sure that the bubble in the tire means that u tore one of the metal wires in the tire when u hit the speed bump. You should replace that tire because it'll probably blow pretty soon, so replace it b4 it blows out when your driving it. While its at the shop they will most likely tell you if u have any suspension/steering components tweaked. I wouldn't tell the shop what you did because they might get greedy, but just get an alignment w/ the new tire and that should hopefully fix the problem.

it went away

the shaking went away the next day i think it was just that i had snow stuckin the rim and was throwing off the balance.

on a good note i'm puttin my 4 door leafs on tonight.
fun stuff

nice easy job, and well worth it too. time to get a set of RS9000 soon too, they make a world of difference

musk it's like your readfing my mind.

I am going to be getting 9000s come next week and be cranking the t bars up as well as gettin disconects for the rear. or i might just completely get rid of the rear swaybar.

then hopefully i'll be able to stuff some 33x12.5 mudders under the fenders without chopping my fenders completely off.

then it's ox locker or electice detroit locker this summer.
and a whole bunch of lights and bumper.

all of this is all based on me winning lotto saturday.
if that doesn't come through. im gonna be scraping up a living to pay for insurance maintence and upgrading the truck.

oh yeh hows the prodject 44 come.

33's hit a little with 2" tt/shackle, and 3" BL, just to let you know

been there, done that, fubar-ed many things up, got the t-shirt, ok, I lied, still waiting for the shirt
