'98 sport stall while driving

I was driving home from a friends hosue the other day and my suv just died on me as i was pulling into my apartment complex parking garage. No check engine lighs came on and it has never given me any problems before in idleing or starting. I have no i dea what the problem could be. any help would be great.

maby the crankshaft position sensor do you hear the fuel pump when you turn the ignition on

yes i hear the fuel pump when i turn the ignition

ya then i would check all connections first but my bet is the crankshaft position sensor
