I noticed tonight that my temp gauge keeps peging really high and my check gauge light keeps coming on. My coolant res is good and my engine oil is good. I dont know really where to start. I was told the thermostat could be bad. How do I verify its bad? I also noticed that a clicking noise under my hood happens every so often. I have 47,990 miles on my explorer.
