Okay I've replaced 4 belts, idler pulley tension pulley sanded down the water pump pulley smooth and I keep breaking belts.... Help I'm about to shoot this damn car....

Ideas welcomed

if you keep breaking belts it's because you have a pulley bearing that's seizing up. serpentine belts don't break because if an alignment issue. something stops spinning when it gets warm/hot and that's what's breaking the belt. it could be anything (p/s, w/p, alt, a/c, idler or tensioner) look for a small pile of burn rubber. when you find it you'll find the area of the problem.

with the belt off, spin each individual pulleys by hand. none should make noise, feel loose or rough. a good bearing will be totally quite, smooth and not spin-on freely once you let go of it.

Okay replaced the idler pulley and pulley assembly tensioner. It's cutting on the inside part of the belt or I'd agree with you on the berrings.
