Well, it turns out they DO rub a little afterall.
There's about a 25-30 deg. arc on the inside wheel well walls on the back axle. Not bad, at all, but definitely there. The tires showed no scuffing, and the inside liner was shiny where the dirt got rubbed off, but no evidence of scraping through the paint/plastic.
There was less scuffing on the right rear where that funny sideways shock lives, but it was still scuffed.
Of course, getting the wheels to stuff that far is a project, esp. if you haven't removed the rear anti-sway bar, but that's a different story.
May be particular to the BFG AT KO's, I dunno. FYI.
